Intercultural Theology Competence for an Intercultural Faith Education

The article begins with clarifying what an Intercultural Faith Education would mean in a global culture that seems to be growing more pronounced its pluralistic nature. Taking for granted the evident fact theology is bedrock faith education intercultural context, it seeks enumerate certain specific competences can render process of possible, significant and feasible. From catechetical or point view, analyses three perspectives should promote, namely, dialogic personalisation faith, prophetic challenging cohesive exchange faith—corresponding personal interpersonal dimensions, communitarian social dimensions expressive missionary respectively. Each these declinate themselves into at least competences, amounting nine practical all: comparative understanding, critical interpretation, cultural collaboration, recognition power equations, ratification identity formation, recommendation theological bonum, equality expression eagerness learn empathy engagement. Interpreting each their distinctive contributions, configures foundational framework terms competences.
